Every week, simply at the beginning of the weekend, we catch up with the WoW Insider staff and ask them, "What are you enjoying this week?" -- in any other case often called: WRUP. Be part of us to see what we're as much as in and out of sport, and catch us in the comments to let us know what you are playing, too!

Going to BlizzCon? No? Why not? It is the '90s! Everybody's going to conventions today!

Positive, it is in Southern California, and for many of you, that is a good distance from house. But man, that is the '90s. They've planes now. And some of these planes even have air phones. You may hook up your 14.4k modem to a type of and connect with your favourite Warcraft 2 BBS, possibly play slightly Legend of the Pink Dragon from 20,000 feet. Why not? It is the '90s!

What's that? You say it's not the '90s -- it is 2011? Effectively, in fact it's! I do know precisely what right now is. See this Casio digital watch on my wrist? It has the day, week, month, and 12 months on it. Everybody's got one -- everyone, that's, who's dwelling within the '90s.

BlizzCon, the most well liked occasion of the '90s, is developing in a mere two weeks. So at this time, along with the usual question of "What are you enjoying?" (Super Nintendo and Scattergories, obvi), I had our prime-notch writers (many of whom have Tripod pages) reply a bonus query: "What terrific recommendation do you have for the go-go BlizzCon attending people of the '90s?"

Anne Stickney (@Shadesogrey) This weekend can be spent ending my entry for the worldwide Writing Contest -- in other words, writing like a madwoman.

As for BlizzCon -- make sure you will have loads of water alongside, the convention hall is larger than it appears to be like! Present up for panels early, verify the occasions schedule and work out what you wish to hit prematurely. Additionally -- comfy sneakers. Significantly, you'll be on your ft pretty much all day lengthy. Comfy sneakers are the perfect!

Allison Robert (@AllisonRobert) I will be going to a different wedding this weekend however will in any other case be on the PTR getting notes for an upcoming Shifting on tanking and healing the three new 5-mans.

As for BlizzCon, I have but to go, but if I had to guess from previous experiences with academic conferences and the like, have just one bit of advice: Do not put on heels.

Alex Ziebart (@AlexZiebart) (gplus.to/alexziebart) Been enjoying some Lifeless Island and hopefully will get a hefty amount of co-op time in with a buddy of mine. Good coop games are far more rare than they ought to be.

For BlizzCon, take extra shirts than you think you may want. If you get super-sweaty, cease into your lodge room and change shirts. It's better than being smelly and uncomfortable all day.

Chase Hasbrouck First WRUP /yay. Continuing my feral soloing in venture in WoW (when Kuwaiti latency allows), else enjoying SpaceChem on Steam. All the enjoyable of programming with out the code!

BlizzCon: by no means been, however experience has taught me all the time to follow the three W's when traveling: water, weight, and strolling (comfortably).

Daniel Desmond (@hazmacewillraid) I'll be doing a little bit bit of PTR spelunking, making an attempt out the brand new dungeons and paladin adjustments, however largely I will be scratching a few extra tallies into my wall with a plastic spoon, counting the days until Skyrim releases.

As for BlizzCon, this shall be my first! As such, I'll be sticking to my guildmates like black leather-based seats on a scorching summer season day.

Daniel Whitcomb (@DanielWhitcomb) Since my mage and warrior are on hold till the 4.Three goes dwell, I could see if I can solo me some more tier 5 for my warlock. I'm also taking part in some Aquaria and Bastion (once more) on Steam, so I could do some extra with those video games.

My recommendation? Hygiene. Specifically, double-, triple-, and quadruple-check your travel bag. When you miss one thing like a toothbrush or a shaving package, chances are you are going to should pay an arm and a leg to replace it. minecraft servers

Dawn Moore (@dawnwow) Not enjoying something this weekend, however I will be watching a lot of StarCraft 2 and League of Legends at IPL3.

Advice for BlizzCon? Hmm ... Waiting in the badge choose-up line is not mandatory if you do not should be the primary one into opening ceremonies. Simply pick up your badge while everyone is in line for the ceremonies and you'll be in and out in 5 minutes.

Elizabeth Wachowski (@leeatwaterlives) I am nonetheless on my honeymoon in NYC, however once i get back I will most likely begin AC: Brotherhood, since my AC2 disc is scratched and I don't suppose I can finish.

Fox Van Allen (@foxvanallen) (gplus.to/foxvanallen) I have been in Philly for a stable part of the week, and I'll be staying in Philly throughout the weekend hanging with my buddy Chester. All types of fun will be had. Like right now, I ate Dutch food. We are a terribly boring individuals, we Dutch.

My BlizzCon recommendation: If you want to grasp out with Fox, I recommend you get your request in ahead of time, as a result of there are many of you, only a few nights in lovely Southern California, and just one Fox. Additional, I advise anyone who isn't from an area with Jack in the Box eating places to go eat at a Jack within the Field restaurant. Oh my god.

Joe Perez (@Lodurzj) More LoL, I've a brand new champion to be taught! Also extra alt leveling in WoW and really looking ahead to a different choose my adventure day Sunday; I am going to in all probability start earlier (three p.m.) this week and go till 5. I'll even be livestreaming the journey, so be certain to watch Twitter for the link and time!

Greatest BlizzCon blunder: not wearing snug and supportive shoes. Critically, you stand and stroll so much that you're a fool if you don't. Also, the quantity of pain your feet will probably be in can be shocking. Also, drink / bring numerous water and attempt to eat outside of the convention center. Lots of fine native places to nom issues at that are a fast walk from the convention center.

Josh Myers (@Elamqt) I'm liking my military of premade and fundamental-transferred shaman on the PTR. I also have a lone mage premade who was set up with spec/glyphs/keybinds/and so forth. after which promptly forgotten.

I have no BlizzCon recommendation, though I caution all Wow Insider meetup attendees to keep away from eye contact with Fox. That's simply widespread sense, though.

(Glorious point. That is how I choose my prey. -- Fox)

Kelly Aarons (@Cadistra) Hoping for some high quality time with my DS, but I am unsure, as I'll be working at my job, doing artwork, and it is Thanksgiving up right here in Canada-land, so there's that. I'll be heading out of city Sunday night to see my family.

BlizzCon advice? Take the health-check:

Convey a lot of water with you.

Wear comfy shoes (with insoles if vital). Remember to stretch your lower back each hour or so!

Deliver some protein-wealthy snacks with you -- natural meals bars, dry-roasted nuts (like almonds and cashews). Con food is overpriced and full of crap, and this will keep you fuller longer. /well being nerd

Mat McCurley (@gomatgo) (gplus.to/gomatgo) I am a broken document. League of Legends and WoW.

Tips for BlizzCon: bring a bottle of water if you'll be able to, take things slow, put on comfortable shoes, and purchase Mat McCurley drinks on the WoW Insider Reader Meetup.

Matt Low (@matticus) In a change of pace, playing on my Nintendo DS. Replaying some Remaining Fantasy VI! My faaaaaavourite Remaining Fantasy sequence -- ever!

Matt Rossi (@matthewrossi) (gplus.to/MatthewWRossi) My hand is absolutely screwed up now, so unhealthy I don't think I can play a lot of something. (I'm typing this one-finger, hunt-and-peck type).

As for BlizzCon, I've never been.

Matt Walsh (@Rhidach) Some Sword of the Stars with some buddies, for (possible) final sport before the sequel comes out. We'll ship the outdated lady off in type. I am going to also be getting some serious Minecraft time in since my guild's server was down last week. Have to make up for lost time!

This will solely be my second BlizzCon, however the biggest factor I picked up final 12 months is to be really early to something you wish to go to -- panels or no matter. Except for badge pickup on Thursday night time. It is open for hours and badges aren't restricted in the same manner seats or space is. No want to indicate up early for that line; go later that night and coast proper by to pickup.

Michael Gray (@writegray) I will be capturing weddings via most of the wedding, which is directly exciting and terrifying. I am not the professional of the crew, so I except to spend numerous time going "Hurrr ..." The weekend is the right time to kick again, loosen up and enjoy some game time. Are you an achievement junkie? Cannot get enough raiding? Rolling a new alt? Considering taking the leap into roleplaying? Whatever your favorite approach to play World of Warcraft, let us know in the comments what you are taking part in this weekend!
