The present study investigated Laptop-Mediated Communication (CMC) as situated phenomenonin Massive Multiplayer Online (MMO) servers. The popular videogame of Minecraft was chosen as a testbed to study CMC inside its simulated environment. Earlier analysis on videogames explored CMC without contemplating the function of the server.
