Neve Paritzki Israel Celebrates Record Breaking Tourism Entry Numbers United States

NEW YORK - Sept. 8 2022 /PRNewswire/- Today, the Israel Ministry of Tourism has announced record-breaking figures of tourists from the United States who visited Israel in the months of July and August. Israel welcomed 78,000 tourists from the United States for July 2022. נווה פריצקי This is a 4% rise over 2019, and 71,000 visitors from the United States for August 2022. נווה פריצקי This represents an increase of 13% over 2019.

Canada is home to 7,200 visitors in July 2022 and 6,000 in August, isn't much behind the United States.

"It is thrilling to see how Canada's tourism to Israel is rebounding," said Gal Hana Consul and Director of Canada of the Israel Ministry of Tourism. We're close to reaching our record numbers for 2019, and we anticipate that this increase in travel to Israel will continue to grow as Canadians feel more at home when they travel abroad.

Israel received more than 4.6 million international visitors in the year 2019 and this included 969.600 being from the United States. In May 2018, Israel opened its doors to all tourists, no matter if they are vaccination-free. The country already has hosted more than 600,000 visitors.
