Minecraft Updates
During Minecraft Live, the next two major updates were announced: 1.24- The Mythical Update, due in December 2022, and 1.25- Update Nautilus in April 2023. The Mythical Update will be the first update since the release that introduces a new Dimension. The Mythic will be a very bizarre dimension filled with magical creatures as well as monsters and a link to Steve's past. Update Nautilus will Update Aquatic II, and add lots of new features to Minecraft's Oceans and Beaches.
Minecraft Dungeons
During Minecraft Live, multiple new DLCs and new features were announced. The 12th, 13th, and 14th Minecraft Dungeons DLCs will be a follow-up End DLC due in a few days, followed by a Cave DLC in January 2023 and the Badlands DLC in March 2023. The upcoming DLCs will be using some of the new features that were introduced in 1.20, 1.22, and 1.23 in Minecraft Dungeons and add a number of new features to Dungeons. Additionally, more features for secret levels and new difficulties have been rumored to come out over the next few months.
Mob Vote 2022
Minecraft Live 2022 will have the Mob Vote to vote for mobs to be part of one of the two updates coming in the next. There are three options: the Drake (the Pike) and the Orca (the Orca). The winner was the Orca and had a massive success over the Drake and the Pike. EXTREMECRAFT After round one, the Drake was eliminated.
Drake
The Drake is a smaller draconic bird that can be seen flying through the skies of The Mythic. It can be controlled and can fight against sky enemies like Phantoms.
Pike
The Pike is prey for fish. It can hold other fish in its mouth and let the prey flounder across oceans and rivers.
Orca
The Orca is an oceanic predator that chases people in boats, trying to strike. They are the largest animal in the ocean. This mob was added in 1.25.
