Minecraft Is Making Its Way To China

The world's Minecraft players log hundreds of hours playing Minecraft each day, but there aren't many gamers in China. Mojang, a Minecraft developer, has announced today that it's creating a new version of the game that is specifically for Chinese players. This development was made possible by NetEase which is an Chinese internet-based company. NetEase operates games such as Hearthstone and World of Warcraft in China.



There's no release date for the game as of yet, and no further details about what changes to the game's core are even warranted for the Chinese market. What we do know is the Chinese version will only launch for mobile and PC platforms and not consoles when it finally makes an appearance. ADDICT GAMING
