It was a long summer night and Jack and his buddies had decided to take the road to the cabin for the weekend. They'd heard a lot of stories of the cabin and its intriguing history, and were excited to explore the place.

The moment they arrived, the cabin was exactly as they had imagined it. It was a two-story log cabin, with a spacious porch as well as a massive stone fireplace. It was a beautiful day and the skies were deep purple. Jack and his companions stood in awe of the cabin, taking pleasure in the splendor.

They opened the door and stepped inside. The room was filled with burning wood from the fireplace, and the musty smell of old wood. Its walls were lit with paintings and the furniture was made of wood and leather.

Jack and his friends started to explore the cabin with his friends. They went to the second floor , and discovered a bedroom with the largest four-poster bed. It also had an open window that had a view at the woodland. The room was stuffed with trinkets, books and old books.

The kitchen was where they found a small wood-burning stove and a sink from the kitchen as well as a variety of pans and pots. All was covered with an incredibly thick layer of dust, but there was something familiar about it.

While they explored the cabin, the sun went down and darkness filled the sky. Jack and his friends were able to make an fire in the fireplace, and then sit around talking.

Jack and his friends were too scared to go into the cabin therefore they decided to go back to their cabin to look around the next day.

On the next morning, they returned to the cabin abandoned. They walked in and saw an old person sitting in an lounge near the fireplace. His attire was formal and wore an elongated white beard.

Knock at the Cabin greeted them and said he had been calling the door of their home the night before. He explained that he was seeking someone to help him. He explained it was his name, Mr. Smith and he was searching for his long-lost son. He had been searching for him for a long time and had heard rumors that he might be living in the region.

Jack and his friends offered to help the Mr. Smith find his son. They searched the area and finally found him in a nearby town.

When Jack and his friends returned to the cabin along with the help of Mr. Smith's young son, they met with a joyous reunion. The Mr. Smith thanked Jack and his friends for their help and asked them to visit anytime.

After this incident, Jack and his friends vowed to always remember the mysterious knocking that occurred at the wooden cabin. They knew that they had experienced something special and would never forget the event.
