Grand Theft Auto 5 rose to the top of Twitch charts following the latest update to its GTA Online role-playing server. For a brief moment, the open-world game was being watched on stream by over 400,000 people.

A new trailer was released at the end of January to reveal the NoPixel 3.0 GTA RP Server. It is a GTA Online server that allows role-playing in a San Andreas. fivem servers This MMORPG-like environment lets players play as police officers, criminals, or simply ordinary people who are trying to survive. The server is built by using the FiveM modding framework, and is maintained by a dedicated team of volunteers.

Although the server is operational, you must apply via NoPixel to be allowed to access the server. There is a waiting time of up to four weeks. The somewhat limited availability has paid off however, since on Friday 413,000 viewers were tuning into creators on Twitch playing Grand Theft Auto 5. Part of NoPixel's charm is that it's a social platform and you get to watch content creators and then into the world for yourself with everyone else sharing in the experience. With four times as many people playing the game, the acclaim it generated is a sign of an abundance of excitement.
